The packaging box was intact, so I must assume that Amazon is selling defective paper. If I saw this ream of paper in this condition on a shelf in a physical store, I wouldn't buy it. If you buy this paper, do it at your own risk. Just make sure you fluff it before putting it in your printer. Or feed one page at a time. The function of the outer cover of the ream is to protect it from humidity. A torn cover means the paper inside is humid, and it may get jammed into your printer.This is good copy paper though not as per the listing that was for 100% recycled copy paper.The paper is fine but the outter wrapping was all ripped and when I opened the box, the papers were all loose and no longer in the wrap. It made it hard to get them all tight to fit in the place I keep the paper. noty. a huge deal and probably an Amazon issue more than the paper company.The paper that came is only 30% recycled content. The first image shows the paper that matches the description (100%) but the next image shows 'paper specifications' and lists 30% recycled content. Buyer beware: if you want 100% recycled content this wasn't it.Well I love this paper. Always have and always will. The 2 reams survived being delivered on our front doorstep without ringing the doorbell and left out in the rain. It survived but I was a bit concerned. I dried it as best I could by laying out the reams with the wet part on the top, to dry out. It made it. Product Internal packaging, as all printer paper packages , not really fit for purpose.The item described is 1 pallet of paper - 40 cases (200,000 pages).All that was delivered was a single case of paper, which is only 5,000 pages. The description is a bald-faced lie and the product is absolutely not worth the money. Reading other reviews, it appears that I am far from the only person scammed. This experience makes me wonder whether Amazon is a reputable or trustworthy place to shop.Completely fraudulent. Advertised as 5,000 but only 500 sheets of paper in package. Plus, paper wrapping was damaged when it arrived in a box that also included two CDs I had ordered (these are in mint condition). Being as it is, I am not even sure that the entire 500 page ream is there, as the paper wrapping arrived entirely torn and open.UNACCEPTABLE.I believe in recycling. If people don't purchase items made with recycled products, the market will eventually dry up for these things. It works in my who-knows-how-many-years-old HP printer, just fine. To my eyes, it looks fine, white enough, thick enough for home use. Those purchasing for an office that is not environmentally conscious may not like it, or if you have a picky copier, printer. I am paying a little more for it, but I don't care .. in this case, I AM putting my money where my heart is, will you?I just ordered it, thinking it was a good deal (40 cases). All i received was one box with 12 cases. Says the order is filled, but its definitely not.
